Total Control by Lee Parks
Just got my copy a minute ago, and I am so stoked! I ordered it through Amazon on 10/24 for next day delivery, and it just arrived (good thing they refunded my freight). Has anyone read this book? Unfortunately with all the rain, I won't be able to practice much.[&o]
I started it but its not as good as Nick Ienatsch's book
worth a read I guess, kinda funny how he uses Larry Pegram several times for "how not to ride" demonstrations, he's gotta be pissed lol

It's a good book, but kinda boring. I guess it would be more fun if you have someone to practice the drills with. He does, however claim to teach you to drag a knee in one afternoon (if you can't already).
Dragging a knee should not be a goal, but the result of other things. I learned that from reflection after my 1st Trackday. CR wanted to get my knee down. Turns out we were both improperly motivated.
I don't want to drag a knee yet, but I'm tired of getting my *** kicked by ALL my friends. I am new, and they have been riding forever, and they always wait for me, and I HATE IT! I just want to get better, and have some tools that I can work with to get better. The first part is a little dry (suspension), and a little technical for me, but I am trudging through it. It helps to have a cigar lit while I am reading the book, though.[sm=pimp.gif]
