told you china cheats =p
you gota remember too..
if she's 13, china could just make her a passport saying she's 16. the best fake documents are real ones

lets argue for a moment that she is 13 does that make her any less of a tremendous athlete going against competitors that are her senior ?
how many times have you been out and seen an asian girl who looked way younger then she actually was?
the point is that these atheletes are getting more attention for side notes then their actual performance, i think its a shame that they will be remembered that way

I have been watching the Olympics like they are crack and I am a crackhead. I see some very obvious screwups with some of the judging and it favors the Chinese team. I have come to have a greater appreciation for the Chinese people, but the judges are confusing me on some of the events.
I agree with you havoc, it's part of the reason i think it was a mistake to hold the olympics in china. People only care about the controversy now, rather than the absolutely amazing performances the people are giving. And i was absolutlye comparing routines to routines, rather than the judging issues. although its kind of hard when the commentators are saying "the australian judge took 3/10's off on the dismoiunt with a tiny step, but didn;t take any off on the russians 2 steps..."
the fact is that judgment method is too complex that even the judges don't understand how it works 100%

the 30-something year old german got the silver in the women's vault
the north korean got the gold in the women's vault...botched her landings the worst(both out of bounds) but did the most tricky ****
chinese got bronze in that event...even tho she botched her landing on the second vault she pulled off a much better vault on the first (16.075...the highest of the event) and both routines were harder than that hottie sacramone's. If it was really that rigged would the worst landings of a North Korean have taken the gold and a german take the silver?
on the uneven bars nastia had more visible errors, silver is still quite good and she also got the all around gold in gymnastics..the highest acheivement in beijing regarding olympics
sounds a little bit like cultural bias to me.

I did a vault that was rated at 1062.2654 and broke three ribs, ruptured my spleen, knocked my teeth out of my face, shot my lower intestine out of my poop shoot, and cracked my fifth vertebra when I yard saled the landing. Good thing my start value was so high that I didn't actually have to land anywhere near my feet to win!!!
Okay, less wise acre response: I understand about the start values, but I would think a person would need to land on their feet to win a medal. Even Bella Whats-his-face and Tim Daggett were talking about it. They know more than all of us combined...and they smell fishiness.
