Bear Grills always brought water, a fire starter, a knife and a camera crew with him. Is that what surviving an unexpected trek in the wilderness involves? Survivorman makes his own fires from scratch, finds his water in the wilderness, and is out there by himself for a whole week. Way more impressive and realistic. Also Bear Grill's over-exaggerated camera induced accent is extremely annoying.

If TopGear was shown in the states on a regular basis, it would take the crown for #1 show. HANDS DOWN. Followed by Hell's Kitchen, 24, etc.

 

The Bob Newhart show was the best. The one where he was the pscologist, not the innkeeper. We used to play 'hi Bob' to it in college.

 

I like Kitchen Nightmares with Chef Ramsey. It is coming to America. I hope it is as good as the one on BBC.

Surviorman just sits in one place. Man vs Wild gets the f*** out of where ever he is and still survives. That old dude couldnt make is trying to get out of a jungle. He failed 2 times so far just having to eat for 7 days, he made it to day 4 and gave up. Man vs Wild much better ....
