My buddy got a few tickets last week. 131 in a 65, DWI, fleeing, and wreckless driving. Kind of a dumb thread, but what a dumbass. Anyone know how long his jail stay will be.

 

how do you know he is going to jail? tell him to get a lawyer and buy his way out. this is not one of those times to be cheap!

it also depends on his past history, I got hit with fleeing and I hired a lawyer and I only got 10 days community service and lots o probation.

 

yea find a lawyer and the DA will work something out, he may have to take adriving class and mabye AA classes but a lawyer will help a lot

 

If he did all those things he deserves to go to jail. In fact, DWI and fleeing should mean he never gets to ride again.

Drinking and riding is foolish and idiotic. Fleeing is childish. Speeding at that rate is dangerous to others on the road.

Yep, jail is what he deserves.

No doubt. I hate to say it, but if this one one of those threads that said the guy then crashed out and died, I would have felt bad for like 10 seconds.


Well, maybe less. People have no place to put others at risk like that and having the cops chase you down just means you don't deserve to ever ride or drive again.

He's screwed.The ridiculous insurance bills coming in the next several years will hurt more than a few days in jail.
