can you give me the first 5 letters/numbers of your VIN? im not asking for the whole thing im just in a situation where im buying a 2001 f4i and the VIN the guy gave me is "jhspc" but every other f4i i see is "jh2pc" so my bank cannot confirm the VIN and he hasnt sent me an actual picture of the VIN itself

so if anyone could just let me know what its supposed to be or what your own is itd help alot

 

i'm guessing he couldn't determine whether it was a "2" or an "s"? yeah, mine starts with jh2pc

 

Mine also starts w/ JH2PC for an 03.

 

just to let you know, my 91 f2 also starts with jh2pc

 

does it work if you try with a 2 instead of the s? I would still be wary buying a bike you can't see in person.
