Thinking of getting 2008 CBR 1000rr
2008 cbr 1000rr
5000 miles
clean title
mint
Cherry Red
All Stock
The guy is selling it to me for $7000 (advertised it for $8000)
What do you think?
As a side note: I test rode a 2001 Hayabusa, that thing was a slug. A 954 would give it a good run or maybe smoke it
Another side note: I have been bikeless for a month and as every warm and dry day goes by.............you know how the feeling is. Sold my zx10r last month

Only goofy bit with the price is a ton of people bought the 08 1krr brand new with zero miles for 8k out the door from the dealers due to that discount that year. Kinda makes you wonder about a 7-8k asking price 3 years and 5000 miles later regardless of what kbb says, which by the way, kbb sucks at estimating actual values. The only reason it has any merit at all is all the people who don't know any better that rely on it. Self-fulfilling pricing.

For a little while in the fall of '09 you could buy a brand new 2008 1000RR from the dealer for less than $7k, with Honda's Bonus Bucks factory rebate. It all depends on what someone is willing to pay for a used one now.
I think you'd have a hard time finding a used one in mint condition now for much less than $7k. The price sounds fairly reasonable.

Agreed, I haven't seen any around here going cheaper with that kind of mileage. If it is truely in mint condition, I'd think it's a good price.
