Default Test drove a gsxr 1000

So I was just on a little cruise before I go into work at 6 and was going by a dealer ship and saw a 2001 GSXR 1000... Thought to myself ahh what the heck lets check it out... (I've been wanting to sell my bike to upgrade to a newer bike but really didn't want to leave out of the Honda area.. lol) but any way I went up and started talking to the guy and they wanted like 4400 for it with 19K on it... I don't know about that I figured that was a little high on price but as we talked I asked for a test drive.. He looked at me and said be careful, as I always am, started that beast up and it just purrred took it for a lap around town right quick and wooow what a difference in performance. I'm not to sure if I like the way it handles but maybe it just cause its lower and wider than my CBR. But that thing can haul ***!! lol just thought I would share my experience with me and the 1000!!

That 01 1000 doesn't even come close to the newer bikes. Stick to Honda, you won't regret it. Johnnyh

My buddy has an 07 Kawasaki zx10r bone stock before he extended it would scare the **** out of me. The front end would come up in third gear let alone 1st and 2nd on trottle only. After we extended it and went -1+2 on the sprockets it runs 9.40s on the 1/4. They are fast. Johnnyh

I rode my buddies '08 1krr and I didn't like it. No, sir. A bike should shake when ridden and make random weird rattling noises and should make me feel like a piston's gonna shoot through my arm at any moment. And I don't like the fact that it just started up all smooth and regularly when I hit the starter button. It should sputter a bit and need a bit of gas or the choke.
