Default TANK BAG NEEDED

i have a 2004 600RR

I need to get a tank bag. I found a few. Looking for one with the map pouch on top, something that isn't too large and can be used as a back pack maybe.

Also, silly question but...

the plastic covers that go over the gas tank, will the magnetic bags still work? isn't the gas tank itself made from composite?

thanks!

Best option is to take a small magnet and put it on your tank, and see if it holds......if not, magnetic tank bag no good, get a strap-on model......

Nada, magnetic bags will not work at all on the 1000 so I imagine the 600 is the same. I am in the same situation. I hate strapping a tank bag on.

Gluing magnets on the inside of the plastic couldnt be too much of a hassle though could it? I've never messed with one but it seems like a viable option if theres even a little bit of room for it.
