I just bought a Pit Posse stand from ebay.....I was amazed at the quality....49 bucks on a bid for the front stand and it has bearings in the dual wheels, heavy duty pivot lugs and the lifting fixture is very counter weighted to keep you lined up well as your seating it to the forks. I was impressed!
I have front n rear T-rex stands. I love em esp since I got both plus the tripe tree attachment for the cost of one pit-bull. And IMO just as good as pit-bulls too.
I have the T-rex stands, they work great. I have two complaint about them though, and both are fixable.
First, its nice that there is the spool or swingarm option. However, when you look at the construction of the adapters you will notice that the weight of the bike is supported by 1 screw. You can tighten this screw as much as you want, but the bike will always win. If you loosen the bolt, slide the adapter all the way down until the bolt is supported by the end of the bracket. You have to see it to know what I am talking about. (#1 in pic)
Second, when you assemble the rear stand, its 3 pieces. The main piece for the handle and one piece for each side of the swing. Two bolts hold each of these pieces on, IDK if it is just my stand or not, but my right piece swivels slightly inward making my bike slightly lean. This can be solved with a small mig weld. I have some and I think they suck. The paint job is crap and they rust easy. They are really flexible.
