Default Survival Kit in a can...

Survival kit in a sardine can (link)

I'm really not sure how useful something like this could be, but considering the compact size and waterproof container, I think it was pretty cool idea, although it is kind of reminiscent of the contents of those 80's Rambo knives, with the wire saw that breaks after the first pull.

Contents
[ul][*]non-aspirin pain reliever[*]adhesive bandage[*]alcohol prep pad[*]antibiotic ointment[*]book of matches[*]compass[*]chewing gum[*]sugar[*]salt[*]energy nugget[*]duct tape[*]fire starter cube[*]first aid instructions[*]fish hook & line[*]note paper[*]pencil[*]razor blade[*]safety pin[*]reflective signal surface[*]tea bag[*]waterproof bag[*]whistle[*]wire clip [/ul]

survival kit? where suburbia? I really don't think pain relievers and lipton ice tea are going to help you survive. (should instead include zanex and weed so at least you don't care that you are lost with no hope of rescue) and band aids are a joke, if its small enough for a band aid to fix, then its small enough so its not going to hurt you. (although alcohol and neosporin are a good idea, infections never help any one), mabey a role of steril gause would be more suited.

also a razor blade? they couldn't spring the extra cash for a real knife? what can you do with a razor blade other then slit your wrists when you realize that you are going to die because of you crappy survival kit.

HAHAHA, dude, you have all the answers

Anyone who needs a survival kit shouldn't invest in one this small. Seriously if you need one take the biggest Mother****er you can! What is that enough for? One meal? yeah because, you know, people lost for weeks are gonna need just ONE meal, with seasoning included, oh and a spot of tea

Or maybe that's what they show you on the box and there really is weed in it, but no one ever uses it so they dont know o.O

Dude, you know if you placed this kit in the hands of McGyver, you would have an ultralight plane and a bomb.

You can use the sugar if you come across a diabetic bear.

EDIT: The matches could be useful.

Nope, the tootsie roll is the fire starter.
