just got home from shoulder surgery hopefuul get to ride by may...ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

 

Wait'll the nerve block wears off [:@] Two days after I had mine done I sat on the bike and reached for the bars -- mistake!!!

Take it easy and do what the rapist, er, therapist says and you'll be good to go.

 

I hope the healing process goes well and you don't enjoy the meds too much

I'm with you, still another few weeks before I can ride again. What did you have to have surgery for?

 

its called a SLAP tear in which the cartilage from the humerus bone (shoulder) tore off along with the bicep tendon. They put a screw in an acnhor sutured everything back down. Done per scope so thank God no big incision. Im on good meds but your right when that block wore off oh holy hell!!! I start PT in a month and full recovery in 4-6 months. Thanks for the support. Bad thing is once I've started PT and things are going good I get the other one done ASAP. If things go really well I'll be back on the bike and golfing by late summer

 

thats great bro i have to go in to iowa city and git a rod and plate to straitn back out my right leg on firday the 13th of this mounth and should be ready to ride as soon as it is warm enough ill let you all know how it goes this friday ok jeez friday the 13th of all day's *****
