That's a BMW car motor. Their factory oil does that if you go 15k between changes like they recommend, after a while.

Looks like someone strapped a beef roast to the tappet cover

Underneath the front fairing below the headlight there's a small panel held in with "4 plastic rivets"
And I think in the lower fairings down where they join there used to be some on my bike but I replaced them with nuts and bolts.
I don't like them much - not very strong but OK for unstressed pieces I spose

The front mask frame of the Volvo S80 is being held in place with those kind of rivets. If you want to take them off you push the center pin in and pull the rivet out. When you want to put them back you pull the pin head out of the rivet, put it in and push the pin flush to the rivet. Easy as what, would have been fun to know before I destroyed bout half of them the first time...

At least we've moved off the #1 and #2 topic...

Now, why do people still believe everything a weatherperson on tv says, when they are wrong more than half of the time? I can do a better job by looking out my window.

If a man sits quietly in the middle of the forest with not a single soul anywhere to be seen, is he still wrong?

If he's married or has a SO, probably.

If you're traveling at the speed of light and turn on the headlights...What happens?
