Dude... that happened to me recently. I lost two nuts when I removed the bracket that goes from one end, enter the seat, to the other. I can't even see the damn nuts. I'm just going to replace them. If anyone could offer some suggestions, that would be great. If not, danny600rr... just replace it.

They make tools specially for that, attachments for a drill that will bite into the bolt itself and take it right out...go to your local hardware distributor for more info

If the bolt is still in there and you cant get it out, and its already ruined, I think you can do one of 2 things.

(1) Take a size or two larger than the 5mm and a hammer and hammer the allen key on there to where its almost stuck on there (or a flat head screw driver), and it will atleast get it lose.

(2) Take some needle nose plyers and grip it the best you cn around the head, or if it goes through the bottom, you can try to do it from there, either way.

Either way you will have to replace the bolt and you can get them from cycle gear or anything like that, and until you get one, you and use on from the lower fairing on the front, since there are about 10 on there between metal and plastic. Good luck

Wait, you stripped the bolt under the driver seat? I thought there was only one seat on motorcycles(not including the cowl). P.S. post us a picture of what it looks like up close and i'm sure you will get the answer your looking for(if you havn't already). Also, there are companies that sell 'Full Fairing Screw kits' they have almost every bolt/screw/hexbolt/washer/crush washer/ that is on your bike... I had to buy one for the F4 because someone tried to ghetto rig it to make the fairings stay on. P.S.S. don't buy a used bike in cali

pff, those things they sell for removing stripped screws suck ***. all they ever have done for me is strip the head even more than before. i always just end up drilling them out.

Just take a drill the size of the screw itself or a size smaller and just drill the center out.
