About 2 months ago I want to say I got a screw in the rear tire . After some help with patching and pluging questions from you all here at CBRF I was back in business. Now 2 weeks ago I was gunna go for a ride cause we had some crazy 80 degree weather goin on here and once again my back tire is flat from another screw. I was so pissed. I didnt want to spend the money right now for a new tire since its almost winter time so said screw it. I Washed it, waxed it, lubed it, stabil ran thru it, batt pulled on the trickle, moved into my basement, up on stands, covered, and awaiting next year. Prob be sometime in March when I can take her out again. 5 months of no rideing sucks, these are depressing times..

Just think of all the fun you can have tinkering with it. No pressure to
get it back on the road, so no rushing thru any maintenance/mods you're up to.

thanks guys, no mods planned for the winter, wanna get a custom tune next spring and some new tires of course but thats about it.

put the rear tire on a treadmill and ride it downstairs while drinking a beer and watching the jets come back

 

how dare you!? it finally just got nice to ride (ft. myers here) god i love the late fall/winter/early spring

 

I feel bad to say we're year round riding conditions here LA Cali...worst case we've got early this year when it rained for 2 weeks and that's about it....man...I can't imagine no riding for 5 months...but the positive side of it can be (no need to buy insurance, +1 with Ern, and most important, the longer the wait, the better the reward)

i.e like you gone on business trip away, from girlfriends for 5 months....LOL...reunion will be worth the wait!!! Vs. Seeing each other every freaking day?

 

Thats what Im saying fall is the best time to ride.
