wasn't it the era of the supergroups?
For every decent 'supergroup', there was a group like Asia, Kansas, and so many sappy whiney ballads that just made to want to cut off your own head in desperation, I remember really wanting to get a screwdriver and shove it in my ears to make it stop. It was a dark time.

But 80s music was great, no message, just happy.

Tommy I loved that "I could be happy"...a real feel good type of song...yes 80's was great no question :-)

I saw them in Greenwich Village, NYC in the 80s, it was always a goof hanging out with the freaks and eating chinese food. Claire Grogan was the singer, we met her that day outside the club.

This is the ultimate pointless song from the 80s. One of my all time favs from my time as a punk. The studio version isbetter...worth buying..
