Yeah, there is some wort of device for it, KnightsSlugger know what it is I believe. I am not sure off the top of my head, I believe I have seen something on one of the internet sites somewhere, but maybe he will be able to tell you exactly what it is. Try to search for it and it may come up.

Search something like : Stop Lights, Do they see me, or something of that sort in the search engine. I remember something being discussed before. Good Luck

I always thought lights were triggered by some kind of detector from the light housing itself. I've been at a light late at night and before I arrived at the light I flash my brights on and off, kinda like a strobe and the light turns green and I hardly have to slow down. Isn't this how ambulances get through the lights easier, or am I a dumb-***?

i have heard of these . just i dont have any personal experience with them. my friend said he had them on his 250 ninja but he also says he has ocean front property in arizona. lol. i have thought about getting the light triggger because i have sat @ a light at night time for 15 minutes and it sucks ! if i ever get around to buying them ill let ya know how it works, or vice versa

btw some lights are triggered by timers, others have sensors and most are triggered by sensors in the ground which i believe is how the magnetic sensors help trigger them. because our bikes arent very heavy the magnent helps to make up for the weight difference .

I bought one of the "Green Light Triggers" off Ebay for $14. It is supposed to be some kind of strong ceramic magnet that will trip the sensor in the road. It is supposed to work on 80% of the traffic signals. Well, all the lights that I have come across in South Texas must make up the 20% that it does not work on because it has yet to make a signal turn green. For being a "strong" magnet it seems to have less than 5 lbs. of pull. I know I have a few smaller magnets at work that are rated for 25+ lbs used to hold steel brackets in place on a door line. I may take a few spares that I have and see if they work any better.

hit the starter, won't hurt anything and sends out a field that the metal detector in the road sees. Works for me.
