So I just dropped $180 on Galfer pads for the front & back with new lines for both...Now I need stands.

I don't want to spend a fortune on this, as I only plan to use stands when I'm doing work and maintenance. I found this on eBay...

Those hook adapters look really poor, personally i would not buy em. I hear ya trying to save money, but ya gotta remember you got how many thousands of dollars resting on them.

I dont have them myself, but ive heard lots of good things about them and their cheap

 

Ya, I know the T-Rex's are good, but I'm just tryin to save a few bucks. I'll only be using them occasionally...maybe I'll just spend the extra few bucks and go for quality.

 

I'd be careful with the T-Rex stands also. I got a pair and one side of the rear stand bent causing me to drop me bike when I was lowering it back down.

the t-rex ones work pretty good...all of my buddys use them and i have used them twice on my bike..just be carefull..they worked great for me..i might order a set to.

 

Tubing + bender + welder = cheap stands. Of course I know not everyone has access to this.
