How do these stands look? I might buy them because cleaning my chain was a real beotch today =P.

As long as your bike accepts rear spools then they look good to me.

Also, how useful is a triple tree stand? Can the front wheel be removed without a triple tree stand?

they look flimsy to me like the lochhart phillip stands. Look for the T Rex stands same price but are much stronger looking. They also work with and without spools as well as are fully adjustable. They are on ebay for $105 shipped.
