Spring Forward, Fall Back...
Try visiting northern Finland,sweden or norway in midsummer when the sun doesn't go down AT ALL. A pretty funky feeling. Even where I live, at mid summer you can read outside with no extra light just fine. Feels great to ride in the twilight all night, the only minus is the gazillion mosquitoes an other little critters that squish into your visor an bike...
And of course, those of us in the southern hemisphere are about to go into the "fall back" position.

It was just getting to the point of my arriving at work when the sky was getting bright enough to pedal without my headlight. Now it'll be back total darkness for the morning commute for a few more months.
Although, since we've retired it doesn't bother us as much. We set our own time for arising and sleeping anyway. The biggest hassle is resetting all fifteen clocks the wife has collected.
