Default sport bike/crusier???

So... I was wondering if anyone had taken their sports bike and used it to build a cruiser??? The reason I am asking is because I am about to. I have a 95 cbr900rr that has seen better days as far as looks go. It is still mechanically sound though. I was planning on selling it andusing the money tostart my chopper buildand now I have pretty much decided to keeping the power plant and wheels and building a chopper around it. That will save me some$$$ and I will still have tons more power than the other guys. What do you guys think??? Am I insane??? Probably but who cares... It will be a fun ride.

I remember a couple of years ago there was a pic of a R-1 style chopper floating around (photo chop). Looked cool to me.

HAHA! I just found the pic in my desk.

Yeah it does look good, as long as you don't have to take a corner all's well.
I don't like cruisers to ride myself, but just a personal thing, building one up from scratch would be interesting & its a great motor to start with.

That is pretty funny. No footpegs though, you could touch your toes in front of the radiator lol
