I am getting ready to buy a new CBR and was considering Southern Honda in TN. Has anyone heard anything bad about this dealership? I know there are a few members on here that have purchased from them. I just want to make sure before driving 1200 miles. They are considerably cheaper than any of the other dealers in my area.

 

I don't have any personal experience,but have heard nothing but good things about them.

 

I know several people that have purchased from them. To do so much business it's surprising how customer oriented they are. One guy had a scratch on the fairing he noticed after the deal was done and the sales guy took it back and replaced it within an hour (the fairing not the bike). Only bad thing I've heard is if you go on the weekend be prepared to make a day of it -- they be busy ..

 

Well I talked to one of the sales guy this morning at Southern Honda and arranged to pick up a red 2006 CBR 1000RR on Friday afternoon. Not looking forward to the 1200 mile trip to pick it up but I saved over $1200 over my local dealer so that will make the trip worth while. If anyone is looking for a 1997 CBR 900RR in very good condition with 15K miles please let me know.

 

wow... 1200 mile trip? ouch. but hey... it'll all be worth it when you roll up to your driveway with your BRAND SPANKING NEW RR!

 

1200 mile trip ...OWWCH...thats a bit far for a deal....thats like from here to Arizona...or is it 600 each way?...Even still thats a bit too far....best of luck..
