Congratulations ! That is wonderful, I am happy for you. My son changed my life for the better, for sure ! Best wishes for long life and prosperity to yall.
So I am back at work today and trying to get back to normal after being off for two weeks.
So the short story, my son, Braeden (Brady), was born 2.5 weeks early and had some complications. He suffered from a newborn syndrome called TTN where the lungs maintain some residual fluid. He was born via c-section which was partly to blame. Either way, my wife and I suffered through 3 days of watching him under an oxygen hood and hooked up to IVs and monitors (It was not fun). In addition, we were lucky he was born via c-section because he had managed to wrap the umbilical cord around his neck and shoulder and consequently was born with a head that looked like a blueberry! [&:]
After a few days in the neo-natal intensive care unit, they gave us the okay to bring him home which was last Monday. We are still getting him used to feeding as he was fed via IV and bottles for the first few days he was alive, but he is doing good. Now we are just trying to get used to no sleep and being parents
.
Without further ado here are some pics we had professionally done the day after he got home. I will have more as these are just 4 of about 40. They give you the four to get you excited...LOL....

Awwww he's freakin adorable!!!!
CONGRATS Mr. Fingers!! Sorry to hear of the complications at birth, but definitely glad to hear he's doing well now. Best of luck to you all!
On a side note.... I had double pneumonia when I was 3 months old, and looked like a big blueberry myself, lol. From what my parents tell me, I was in the hospital for 9 days and it wasn't much fun at all! Glad I don't remember that...phew!
