Something to think about?
has anyone ever thought about this? why do motorcycles have the drive chain on the left side (and before somebody gets smart i don't mean the custom made right side drive bikes either i mean just factory street and dirt bikes) and regular old bicycles have the chain on the right side? is there a reason that motorcycles have left and bicycles have right? just something stupid running threw my head at one o'clock in the morning and i thought i'd see if anyone had an opinion
WTF ROXY!! I'm ROTFL!!!
Anyways, the reason for the chain to be on the left side of the bike rather than the right is, well, i don't want to sound too smart, so, i'll let someone else answer it

Couldnt it just be the easiest way to orientate things? Pretty much all bikes have the same basic configuration right?? like the stacking order from the top of the case down to the transmission and stuff??? I dont know, thats my best guess hahahah the shift lever is always on the left... brake on the right... that have somethin to do with it? easier to arrange brake/clutch? man... good question bro [:'(] wish i knew the answer now hahaha
