Wrong, straight from the Washington state website.
Washington law requires insurance ID cards to include the following information:
* Insured driver's name
* Insurance company name
* Policy number
* Effective and expiration dates
* Description of the insured vehicle, including year, make, and model
Any vehicle that is registered in Washington must be insured for at least the following amounts of liability:
* $25,000 for bodily injury or death per person per accident
* $50,000 for bodily injury or death for two or more people per accident
* $10,000 for damage to the property of others per accident
Every single state requires liability at the very least, without fail. Again, why do people post incorrect information?

Not even that is required. You do not have to insurance what so ever here.

Washington does not require insurance for motorcycles, but riders do have minimum insurance requirements for financial responsbility. You might be required to deposit cash or post a bond with the DOL for as much as $25,000 if you're found to be at fault in an accident.
So unless you have a SR22 you dont have to have insurance.

Living in Florida I know this for a fact.. insurance is NOT required for motorcyclist, as long as the rider has on a helmet, and doesn't get into an accident. If you don't wear a helmet then you need insurance. Also if you get into an accident then you are required to have insurance. Kind of stupid to not straight up require it, but that is how it is.

Kinda l i k e helmet laws...even if it isn't required, sure makes sense to wear one. Arguing over the legality of it makes even less sense. All The Gear All The Time includes insurance. Ride (or park) at your own risk without it.

Not sure but i know in most states, for a fee, DMV will run plates for you.
http://www.abika.com/Reports/LicensePlates.htm
according to that site, it'll take 2-3 weeks. you can atleast get a name and address if you do chose to pursue it in court.
