This seems to be the worst year of crashes.

the petrol tank has survived completely
Hooray! I've always thought there's something central to a bike about the tank...if it survives harm, the whole bike has a good chance.

Great news about finding items to bid on. I spent a year and only rarely found plastic...all the stunters destroyed them, and Honda no longer makes any for my model.

I know it's for Fireblades, but they do have some parts for the 600F...which one is yours, the FW? I did email them once and they were very pleasant and helpful:

That'd be sweet if you could keep it the same color scheme, Jules. Those colors were so pretty and it was obvious that you absolutely loved them. But if you're up to it in a few weeks and the mechanicals truly are sound, slap some indicators on herto get her street legal andrideit"naked".

At the risk of leg-humping, that thought has a dream sequence starting with me here.
Please excuse me for awhile...LOL.

Things coulda been worse..Things could have also been better. But really, When i wrecked. I would have loved my bike to look like that. And be able to come home from the hospital the same day..All in all I think it turned out good for what happened.
