Yea your buddy is definitely damn lucky he didnt wreck. The exact same scenario happened to me last october, except i wasnt as lucky as him. The rock gave me a nasty headshake at about 65mph and i ultimately lowsided. Not fun for me or the bike. Watch out for those damn rocks and debris, i know i am these days!
