here in oklahoma i never see anyone in gear, maybe a helmet or two, but the sunglasses are the most protection they have on. meh im gear all the way jeans, boots (sometimes), jacket and always gloves because it looks like a jacked off some huge black guy with the black **** that gets on my hands

 

you should get some new gloves schira, my old gloves did that, sucked mucho.

i was out riding today, must have been 90+ degrees, I was fully geared up, mesh pants, textile jacket, lid, my new astar sps gloves, and my new teknic violater boots, and i go to get my inspection....there is a guy on a harley with a half lid jeans and a tshirt, i say whats up, he the same, i say, its gonna be a hot wait (small station, you just wait in line in your vehicle, no cover) then hes like, i bet its hot in that jacket....yeah, but id rather sweat than bleed. i sweated my *** off today, and im actually still sweaty from the ride, but thats a whole lot better than being skinned.

 

I had the exact opposite kind of day...ironic.

Met a great bunch of guys at a new Honda dealer in Decatur Texas.

Second Flip flops are the bomb when putting your feet on the ground while riding. Heck, you could let go of your bike and glide to safety.

I was riding today in all my gear (pants, leather jacket, boots, gloves, helmet), and it must have been ninety degrees today. I probably lost about five pounds due to sweat. I had a bunch of errands to run and was on and off the bike until the last part of the ride, when I treated myself to my favorite local run. Everytime I went into a business I was sweating all over the place...I disgusted myself, but like Rrasco said..."I'd rather sweat than bleed".

 

+2 on the OK riderz... i was goin down 169 the other day in my track suit and everything else, and got passed on both sides at the same time with 2 fellas goin about mach 3 with some sweet jesus cruisers and shades.

Haha. 18. You're funny. I'm 22 but look like I'm 15. I love playing the "Guess my age" with people. Especially with a fresh shave.


Probably why I hardly have lady's ask me out. Guess when I'm at a bar or just drinkin they're thinking "Is he in high school". hahaha.
