Here's an honest reply...
If you have feelings for her, have her prove her interest of you by ending the other relationship first? Trust is from the start. If you and her both respect the trust element then you should both agree that if each of you want to pursue this, then she should cut all ties first!! Then you have a clean slate to start from. Otherwise it's just one more skeleton in the closet someone has.
Oh, one more thing, take a second to consider whether or not you are the rebound guy now. When a chick is on the rebound, they are more vulnerable. Unless your that type of person, then so be it. But, your post doesn't really give that impression.
Good luck. And peeps, don't bust on him too much. It's actually kinda cool. How often does a thread like this come up? Forgive me, with only a few hundred posts under my belt, I'm probably still a noob.
