We put it off as long as possible... But he went under the knife today and came back missing some parts.

Yeah, he got neutered today He can't stand the lampshade either. But after observing him after the surgery, the vet suggested Crazy Gluing one on and shaving it off in 10 days

He's not taking well to the Cone of Shame, either. Walking into door frames, walls and whining miserably. Gotta hit Petsmart in the morning and look for the inflatable "lifepreserver" type.

Odd thing is a lot of people are pissed at me. They were hoping that since we have Kai & Kia, they'd somehow get puppies in a couple months

 

Are you serious man ? Holy hell never heard of that in my life and Ive had a ton of dogs
Latest one I have which is a softcoated wheaten terrier when they emptied his wallet he
never missed a beat so much so he was still in love with the mail carrier the very next
day, dunno what it is he always seems to stick to her like glue , mind you she is

Kai is showing his stubborn streak. He won't leave the cone nor the stitch site alone. Vet said they had to restrain him when he woke up.

Yeah, she was joking about the glue. But wasn't when she conveying the amount of trouble he'd be giving us

 

My pooch Russel had the same look when he had to wear his cone haha. He got used to it after a day and was running around with the other dogs but it was funny watching him run through the woods and getting it stuck everywhere. Although he never did understand why he couldn't get through the doggy door even to the last day he ahd it on, got stuck every time.

If the vet didn't give you anything for the pain mine told me to use baby motrin to help with itching and pain etc.
