Default Shipping time?

Hey guys, I recently bought f2 forks from ebay and the seller was located in San Diego California. I'm located in Glendale California, which is about 2 hours away. The scheduled date is 3/3/08 but the item in one morning is already in Sylmar which is about 30 mins away from my house. Is it possible that I will get the item today? Or would it go to another UPS station near me then get sent out which would explain the delay scheduled date?

Do you think they'd let me pick it up with ID verification?

call them first, and ask if you can schedule a pick up.

I saw a show on Fed Ex and they followed the package from customer to customer, They actually sent it back to themselves. The package traveled over 1800 miles to get back in their hands.

It usually goes to abranch center (airport) then flown to a routing location where all packages are recieved in and sent out to its destination (back to a branch) then put on the truck to its final destination. As it happens it may drive past your house before it goes on its little vacation.

Make sure the Item isn't on a truck, if it is off a truck and waiting to be loaded, they will be happy to have you pick it up. Plus it is good to inspect the package in front of someone in case of crushedness.

some of those places are actually distribution centers that don't allow customer pick up ... it's easy to call UPS and find out for sure
