Shift Jacket
I posted in the Gear, but I didnt get a whole lot ofresponses. I was just wondering if any of you have dealt with the Shift brand of equipment. Particularly jackets. Any experiences or heresay would be apperciated. Thanks
I have the Shift M1 Fire jacket in large. Excellent gear - the leather is nice and thick, the stitching excellent, and the armor is way above average.
There is an online store that hase them on sale for $129, normally $379.

Hows the ventilation on your jacket?

The arm panels breathe, and there are some perforations on the sides of the jacket. Don't forget that this thing is leather - not being sold as perforated.
Without the zip-in liner, I've ridden in 90 degree weather. Not too bad until you stop . . . . . I rode in the jacket tonite and was warm as toast.
One of the recent sport bike mags documented the condition of a Shift one piece suit that was being worn when the rider had a high speed get off on the lowside. A few scratches here and there, but still entirely serviceable and looking good.
