Didn't read any of the replies yet, but the age won't be an issue if it's not an issue. Meaning either get it out there right off the bat or make it come up.

When a girl asks if you want to go get a drink, you don't want to say, "I can't." You either want to make sure the question isn't askedor that it's on your terms if it does.

i think the girl may have been a blood sucking vampire...for he has not returned in a while

Most probably they would have married, settled down, planning to start a family, can't afford to own a bike anymore and no point to come to this forum anymore...

Or the gal would have found that he is seeking advise here, bashed his pc n bike for good...
