So The Suns are playing my beloved Lakers tonight (with recent aquisitions, the Lakers are considered the team to beat in the West). I can't wait for Shaq to play against his former team tonight, especially after Phil Jackson laid some smack down about his roll for the Suns. Something like, "He will take the ball out of bounds, then wait for them to come back down the court". Anyway, for those who care, what do you think Shaq is capable of with one of the fastest teams in the league? I think it is a bad matchup. He is old, slow, and out of shape generally. One of the top 5 centers of all time (IMO), but past his prime these days. We'll see. I could be dead wrong.

 

im not a big nba fan but since im from phoenix i always root for the suns. when i found out they got shaq i was kinda excited to see how he could help, then i found out they gave up shawn marion to get him. imo it was a terrible trade, the suns are all about fast uptempo play. i think his defensive presence could be key but his o is gonna be worthless.

 

I agree, I might be wrong but I think he is a bad fit for the Suns. They will be up and down the court 3 times b4 he crosses mid-court. Who knows, this may reenergize him and he may have some flashbacks. But, it really doesn't matter. MAVS RULE!!!

 

Mavs have no deffense, and Kidd makes them worse in that regard. My .002. It is going to be a battle in the west no matter how you slice it. Watch those old f_ckers, The Spurs, win again this year...[:@]. I hate them!!!

TD, just pay attention to how much better Marion makes The Heat. He could have been the missing piece for them. I can't wait to see what happens with, Shaq in Phoenix, though.

The Pistons are kicking *** this year in the East. They have a good chance to be the East representative in the finals...I hate them, too. They kicked my Lakers *** in 2004 in the finals. That would have given Karl Malone a ring, and Shaq and Kobe would have four rings (as Lakers). That still makes me sick to think about it...I must stop now...losing strength...can't continue...

 

the suns are dumber than **** for trading Marion for shaq...go nuggets and bulls...

 

thats what irks me the most. i think hes just gonna make the heat that much better, meanwhile we dont know what were gonna get with shaq.
