So getting rid of the wife isnt an option.... lol JK man i gotta go stang as well, i see where your at with the bike being replaced but i dunno my prostreet car hasnt been on the street (or driven period) in pretty much going on 3 years. It does suck but 2 wheels has kept me sane. I've actually been debating gettin rid of the car to help fund a mega cab.

I sold an E-type Jaguar when my son was due.
I've regretted it ever since.
Save the Mustang, you'll be able to give it to the wife to use, and later on when finances are better buy another car. You'll never buy another classic car - things will just stop you from doing so - house payments, school fees, etc etc.
If you have to sell something, sell the bike, as hard as that is for me to say.

In this case, the wife is WRONG! Do what you need to do though.

I never liked the 90s Mustangs. I don't consider them to be classics. No insult meant as you've put a lot of work into it. But as far as body styling goes, my interest ended in 1973 and began again in 2006.

The fox body Mustang WILL be a collectible..... it is the car that 'restarted' the modern musclecar... the 70s were a time of loud graphics and low power.. the 82 Boss is back.. the 85 roller cam carbed and the 87 that kicked the aftermarket in teh pants so hard that Ford kept the car alive due to enthusiasts letters (pre email!) and gave the Probe its own name... Don't even talk about the IROC or GTA.. they couldnt get near a Mustang in the late 80s/early 90s..

Great car.. seriously.. but its your decision if you must part with it.. I'd hate to make it myself..

Keep both and deal with it. You'll just spend all the money you made on the sale, and be right back where you started financially, AND be out of a prized vehicle, which will make you even more depressed. I'm unemployed right now, being payed minimum wage by the state; I could sell my bike for an EASY $6k, but selling off something that brings me such immense happiness for just a few months' mortgage seems like the most ridiculous thing in the world. I'd rather eat ramen and mac n cheese than sell my bike.
