Secret spots
Well the weather turned to custard this morning so the wife and I decided to get out of town and head up the coast to our secret spot.
It's one of those spots you discover on one of those "go where the road takes you trips" and becomes a favourite spot to cruise to, to escape the mundains of everyday life.
I figure a lot of people have little secret spots like these so please post them up.
No need to name them or they won't be very secret would they
Anyway here's a few pics of they day at our secret spot
This is the lagoon at one end of the beach. Kids taking a dip.
The boy spitting out a mouth full of sand. No need for lunch
Mrs KB and my daughter and the bun in the oven due March 5th, enjoying the shade
The blow hole, amazing on a good stormy swell. Shakes the ground under your feet.
The boy landed this Deep sea Kahawai on his new rod.. Look more like a truckawai to me dinner tonight was great BTW
A final pic as we were about to head back home. Always hate leaving this place!
So that's my families secret spot. A great little get away.
Please post yours I'm keen to see.
I will give a hint before I leave, it's in New Zealand
Cheers all

Of course it's NZ KB, why would anyone want to live somewhere else in the world?
Those of us that are lucky enough to live here, just need to remember sometimes how lucky we are.
Your situation in Rottenrua is a bit different to mine down here in the south.
Lived in Wanaka for 13 years now, never seen a gang member.
And now I come to think about it; my garage door has never been locked in all that time.

Haha will admit TK that Pukauatua street can be a bit rough on a Friday night, but that's all part of the fun
I must be lucky too, I've owned our current house 11 years and never had anything go missing, but then I've got a couple of good alarms that eat meat..
