Last night I was riding home from work and a barn owl flew in my general direction, hitting me and latching onto the right shoulder of my Scorpion jacket. The owl continued flapping his wings, repeatedly hitting the visor of my helmet, until I finally knocked it off of me. The whole time it was perched on my shoulder its talons dug into my my jackets ballistic nylon jacket/shoulder armor. Thankfully I was o.k. and as far as i know the owl was not hurt- probably was just as shook up as I was. After I returned home, I examined my Scorpion hat-trick jacket to see if the owl's Talons had torn into it, however, the jacket was unscathed. So i would have to say the Scorpion jackets are really tough.
