Coming home from getting some nice grease trucks with a couple buddies I hear a loud motor, Of course it was a bike.. We finally see it and hes weaving in and out of traffic on a very dangerous road with some of the biggest idiot driver's on it you will ever see. He stop's for the red light and we get right behind him. Wouldn't you know it, Bozo is only wearing a helmet. No jacket, gloves our boot's and worst of all he's in short's. While I'm ripping on him in my car, he start's talking to a guy in a 300zx and then he looks behind at us, and my buddy start's waiving.. The idiot flips us the bird, the light turns green and him and the 300zx weave through 2 cars and then race...

Since I started riding I have been noticing that most biker's are pretty dumb..

Last week on the parkway I noticed a guy on gsxr with a small little helmet on tucking underneath his TINY screen trying not to get wind in his face at 70mph while there was a full face on the back of his bike...

 

they will learn the hard way one day, it never fails.

 

I too have been seeing a lot of riders in shorts, no gear whatsoever and riding crazy. Just as Playfulgod has said, they will learn.

Too bad in a lot of states there exist a no helmet law for riders who fit into various categories. In PA you are allowed to ride without a helmet if you have two years of riding experience and are 18 or older, or if you have completed the MSF course. This makes pulling over bikers with no helmet useless in my state, but riding without a helmet is like announcing you are expecting to be an organ donor.

 

I see it as Darwin's theory of Natural Selection in action. We need organs and can do without dumb people.

The only tragic part is the innocent that are involved and the bad rap the dummies give us.

I've noticed quite a few dopes on sportbikes running down the highway in shorts and t-shirt, ducking behind the windscreen.

 

Nothing like getting a lung from a 30 year old that smoked 2 packs a day.!!
I still can see the pictures of a smokers lung in health class.

 

What makes me mad is that i see the young punks that went out to get a loan for a brand new bike and go whizzing down the road acting like they're someone and only have a helmet on and just a regular t-shirt (if that). They must think "oh it's too hot to wear a jacket." I know they'll think it's pretty hot when their skin meets blacktop and 45mph.. I have no problem with people going out and getting loans for bikes..it's just the ones that do that and make us other bikers have a bad rep. Makes me even more angry because i have a lil Kawasaki Ninja 250 and an 'ole '95 F3 and they have the new bike

 

I have a good friend who works as a salesman at a bike dealer. He aways tells me management comes down on sales people who 'butt in' on what the customer says they want. Squids come in wanting a litre of gsxr, and they never even owned a bike before! My friend tells them 'get a ninja 250 or a decent used bike' and the boss gets mad at him.

 

I'd tell that boss to kiss my ***, I'm not putting the gun in the n00bs hand lol
