Default Saturday May 5th: Round 2

According to the service tech, Yolie should be on her feet and ready to run Saturday. I've already taken the day off to escort her home, providing I can get a lift to the dealership. I will also give her a inspection before taking possession.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? Already plan on bringing a tire gauge to check the pressures.

I'm also thinking of making it a priority to get her resprung for my weight. Riding Ororo has made it evident that while Yolie's suspension is superior, its superior for someone 40lbs heavier

Where'd she go and why?

I must not be paying close enough attention.

Heh obviously not. I lowsided back round April 7th. Thought it was mostly cosmetic till the dealer found I cracked the frame.

She's been getting her skeleton replaced since then. I have full coverage so the $7.5k bill is on them

Damn I should really switch to full coverage. They cover accidents like low sides even if they are rider error? (or was it not?)

She jumped the curb while sliding. I'm guessing the impact with the curb is what bent the slider all crazy. Damn sure hurt when the curb kicked me off her

Full coverage covers everything, including rider error. I said I wasn't at fault tho nobody else was involved. The street was at fault

damn dude.... are there any other cases out there of beemer frames cracking under such light crashes? i assume youre also on some beemer boards as well as cbrf.

i'm glad you have full coverage, but the frame cracking on a lowside would really bother me.

Do you have the details on what they did? Did the replace the frame? W/ the details you could look at specific things.
