Default satellite views

Anyone have a good link, or site to use for satellite viewing. I tried google earth, and it does ok, but not quite as well as i would like. Im trying to scout out a new area to hunt, but with google everytime you get somewhat close it pans down and gets blurry [:@]. Any suggestions?? thanks.

I think most of the ones with better images than google require subscriptions (but I may be mistaken) .. I think I remember NASA having one as well but I have to go back and look for the link. Have you tried terrasever to see if you think it*s any better than google?

You might have to hack into the FBI data base to get what your looking for

I do think the resolution gets better when you purchase a package from Google earth, I would never use it enough to get my monies worth though.

actually... the one that yellowpages.com uses is awesome. I'll see if I can find a direct link to it.

http://www.yellowpages.com/maps
Click on aerial. Best I've ever used. Blows Google earth out of the water.
It's microsoft visual earth. And when the button is available, click bird's eye. You'll **** a brick.
