Default Safety sticker placement

I got my safety check today. The guy is very cool and he never said anything about all the mods I did to my bike. But he said the regulation changed on where safety check sticker should be on bike. We used to put it on the chain guard, but now he said it has to be in the back. So I had to go get an extension plate to run under the license plate. Wow, it is super ugly!!! I hate it. Plus I would have to make another hole to that plate so that it will be held by 2 places. not by one top screw.

Just move it or take it off and play dumb if you ever get pulled. Thank goodness all we have to have showing on the bike here is the license plate.

I don't want to make my bike easier for cops to stop for a cause. Not having safety check sticker will be a good cause, then they can move to my HID etc.

.... he better not pulling my leg... but at the same time, I didn't have to put back my OEM stuff to get safety check, so shouldn't complain

VA inspection stickers go on the top of the front fork tubes - I don't bother getting mine inspected - I'll just pay the ticket if I get stopped.

Oooooo man ... No MVI tickets in louisiana can be really expensive ... They just make us carry the sticker with the bikes paperwork ... It doesn't have to be stuck on the bike anywhere ....

I have had my bike inspected once in 05 in Texas, havent had it inspected since. Everytime I got pulled over in TX they never said anything. I was also told that it wasnt a requirement in TX. But now in VA i still have TX plates so I dont get harrased for expired inspection stickers. Im sure ill get pulled over eventually seeing as how my license plate is side ways and tuck under my undertail......VA is nice....

And about that ugly huge plate, first i would remove that factory mud flap thing you have going (I know the flap is gone but the blinker mounts are still there) and tuck that plate under the ECM area with led lights to illuminate it. Or just hand it from the exhaust tube using a clamp....

NJ got rid of bike inspections. Winning.
