Neil's story is actually quite interesting. Within a year, he lost his wife and daughter(?). He then took a motorcycle trip across Canada as a way to find and heal himself. He wrote about it in a book called Ghost Rider. I got it but haven't started reading it yet. He's also written other books about motorcycling trips he's taken.

I am a guitar player through and through, but when I listen to Rush, all I hear is Neal Pert...holy shnikees, now that is talent. He also writes the lyrics for the band. Great band!

I've seen them 9 times. Every show is amazing.
For all you fans out there here are a few links I know of:
http://rush.com/php/set_flash.php?flash=1
http://neilpeart.net/
http://www.myspace.com/neilpeartpratt
http://www.andrewmacnaughtan.net/intro.html
http://www.neilpeart.net/movies/yyz_vid.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUICM...ted&search=

Also have "Pieces of Eight" by Neil Peart in MP3.
Not sure how to upload, or if it's even legal to do so, but it is sweet.

The headbangers were not easy to synchronize.
