Rode an r6 for about an hour today
What i don't understand, if you goto the Europiean Yamaha webpage, you can order racing parts right from the factory when you order the bike. Here in Canada not only can you not get that option, you can't get the parts either

IMO the r6 is probably the weakest motored of all the 600*s. So with that rational in mind, riding a different brand 600, or especially a newerversion of any 600 (although he didnt mention what year it was) would be a step up, especially in torque which is what you really feel. Then obviously any liter bike is no comparison.

Right, torque, i have ridden a few. Yes they feel good if you ride them between 12-17k rpms, which maybe on a track. For everyday street riding though they lack compared to the others IMO.

hehe you think that the R6 is aggressive you should ride the 08 1000RR it's way farther foward then my f4i

That is the same exact bike that my buddy has. I have rode it quite a few times and I would have to say that I am not a big fan. My other friend has an 06 R6 which I thought rode alot better.
They are aggressive Crash. I have gotten to try a lot of bikes out, the one that scared me the most tho by far was the
2008 MV Agusta F4-R 312 1+1. I was considering one, didnt due to the price. But oh my lord, most aggressive seating ive ever been on, and just brutally powerful. Very scary package.[/align]

the r6 has the weakest bottom end of the 600cc class. It makes up for it in handling n top end grunt tho. Its still not a CBR tho
