Default Rode 360 miles yesterday!!!

My first long ride. And it was looonnnggg! No not that bad. Excellent roads! I mean amazing! Started from Portland, went out around Mt. Hood. And then headed east for about another 150 miles. Went with a couple experienced riders from work. One guy has a Triumph 955i, the other guy has an Aprilla. They were killing me on the turns, I couldn't believe how fast they were going. I can't wait until I'm the experienced rider! Good times though!

Ah, the first long ride is the greatest! It makes you never want to take the car anyplace again!

Nice choice on a first bike and congrats on a fun and safe ride.

Envy, envy, envy. I love long rides, get home so tired & excited at the same time. Still remember my 1st long ride, visit my Grandfather on the coast. Even longer ride cos I kept getting lost. There is always someone that will toast you in the corners, but it sounds like your mature enough not to rush it. I have friends that want to get from A to B as fast as they can, I just enjoy the ride. Still think your paint job is cool.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'm definitely not trying to rush things and get hurt or hurt my bike. Gotta learn how to turn before you take a turn at 100 mph! Thanks for the paint job compliment too!

OK, wet blanket here.

Glad you had fun on your 360-miler. My one long trip to New Hampshire SUCKED. Never want to ride long distance on a sportbike again.
