i find most guys i've met, who like to ride agressive all the time. Have either lost their liceance at one point of time, or are paying through the nose for inssurance, cause of all their tickets.

So there's that aspect as well. Some people just have no self control

^^+1^^

half of the guys i ride with are like that. it gets real annoying when we go riding and someone always gets pulled over. this is why i ride by myself alot, or ride with guys who aren't trying to have a speed competition the whole time.

I quit riding for over 20 years due in large part to the fact that I had no self control on a bike, when I was on something that will exceed the national speed limit in 1st or 2nd gear and I've got 4 or 5 more to go, I just couldn't hold back.
I've gotten a couple speeding tickets (like 10 or 15 over), since I started riding again, but nothing like before, where they were usually "jailable" speeds. Only been in one bike accident though, back before I stopped riding, I had my wife on the back of a friend's big bulky Yamaha dresser on a fairly bumpy dirt road and she grabbed me around the midsection and accidentally pinned one of my arms to my side, jerking us off the road, just glancing off a telephone pole. That one never got reported, I just fixed everything out of my own pocket.
