RE: RIPE
If looked up Tiscali broadband UK which I use supports RIPE. Any competent IT person here can figure this out.

Let there be something here for my sister to return to.
The RIPE NCC supports the technical and administrative coordination of the infrastructure of the Internet. It is a not-for-profit membership organisation with over 5,000 (as of July 2007) members located in over 70 countries in its service region. They control all IP addresses in the range 77.0.0.0 - 95.255.255.255. Any individual or organisation can become a member of the RIPE NCC. The membership consists mainly of Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecommunication organisations, educational institutions, governments, regulators and large corporations.

RE: RIPE
I saw in a thread that you think I'm in Amsterdam. I am in the UK but obviously the last hop you are seeing is the European RIPE NCC network, you are not bouncing over to the UK here. Tiscali UK uses the RIPE NCC to hop over to the states so appears as our ISP.
Thanks for the PM and replied to.
