It's really sad that we lost such a great race car driver today. I met Dan last year at the Chicagoland race and he was such a nice guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Dan you will be missed!

i'm glad they did the tribute.

 

Yeah me to. That was very nice of them. Was pretty hard to watch.

 

and it must have been tough. i think i saw a clip of dario franchitti crying before they went out on the tribute laps....

i can't imagine what all of them are going through. it could have easily not been dan and easily could have been anyone of them.

hopefully wheldon didn't suffer long and he's in a much nicer place right now looking down on his wife, child, and friends.

 

Oh no! I didn't even hear. I met him at the Honda Grand Prix here in Tampa several years ago.
