RIP
So my friend/coworker, Andrew, has a Hayabusa. Well, I guess he let a friend ride it Saturday (for anyone not in the northeast, it rained pretty f**kin hard saturday early in the afternoon)... the guy ended up getting chased by the cops and ran... the police gave up the pursuit right outside of town, but the guy kept running (probably didn't even realize the cops weren't behind him anymore)... well, coming up on a hill, he failed to negotiate the slight left-hand turn at speed, went off the road about 450 feet, put the bike through a house; he ended up getting thrown from the bike and hitting another house in the area. He was only wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
I didn't know the guy personally, but I feel for him. R.I.P. Leonard.
I can't imagine how Andrew is feeling right now.

Too late it is, to counsel, or to pray.......
Only remember him, who's gone away.....
Better that you forget and smile
Than remember, and be sad.

455 Feet? He must have been going 130+. It is sad to read these things, but I really have to wonder how many people really have the temperment for busas and new liter bikes. It just seems like to me a 31 year old man should be in some control of his inner child.
