So since my Puig windscreen is still on back order (over a month now). I have put off ordering my rim tape and decals. I guess I could of called and asked Tape Works this question but I figured I could get a couple more answered by posting this instead.

The price for the tape is 22.95. Now is that for both wheels both sides or just one.
The other questions areā€¦ What did you guys use to clean the lip of the wheel to ensure a nice stick? And did you guys take the wheel off to put it on?

 

1. It includes 5 rolls of tape, both sides of both wheels and one spare.
2. Simple Green and a final alcohol wash
3. Used front and rear stands.

 

You can go to any auto paint supply house and take your choice of color for about $5 bucks.

took mine of and simple greened the with alchol wash and bought some auto stripe yellow 1/4 inch 150ft of it lol for 5 dollars worked great have to have a steady hand and somewhat of and idea of wut u are doin but i think it turned out good

Just posted these in the RR section last night....

 

You will get enough to cover both sides of both wheels. I just cleaned them up with a rag and the tape sticks for almost a year w/o issues. Don't have stand so the bike just sat on the ground and I rolled it a few inches as the tape went around.
