Default Rider down :(

So I was unable to make it to the race this past weekend due to finances, but my teammate had totalled his 06 CBR600RR last month when a soccer mom rear ended him on the interstate, and just bought a 2008 Yamaha R6 2 weeks ago.... me and a couple friends helped him get the bike race ready so he could make it to the event at Beaver Run, so he left late saturday afternoon and his roomate drove him up there all night so he could sleep and race on Sunday. Well his first two races didn't go good at all cause he was running the Dunlops that came on the bike, and he told his roomate right before he went out for his 3rd race that the bike wasn't feelin good at all, but he went out anyways.... he tried to pass a guy in the shakein* and lost control and hit the barrier rail at ~120mph (speed aprx from other racers stories) so he is alive which i am very thankful for.... but he has a shattered leg, bruised lung, broken fingers, and im not for sure but i think his other leg is broken.... anyways keep him in your prayers, he loves motorcycles and really loves racing.... so hopefully this injury want put a permanent damper on his future seasons..... i called the hospital today to talk to him, and he sounded really tired so i made the call short and sweet and wished him to heal up quick and get back home, the hospital isn't going to release him till thursday....

on a less important note, his new R6, with around 1000 miles is toast, ive got some pics of it but its just too nasty to show....

Sorry to hear about your buddy, I hope he heals up quick, glad to hear his neck and back are OK, that stuff never heals right.

Prayers for your friend, crashing at over 100 mph and surviving is a miracle in itself so he must have someone up there looking out for him.
