Default rider down

yup at 12,500 i went down earlier while in ACU's, helmet, boots, gloves. not a scratch or scuff on the uniform(i slid like super man across grass)....lately in the last week my rear ends slid out on me a few times and i chose grass vs pavement. my PP has about 6k on it and its bally on sides so i think i pooped the rubber out. but anyways after i shoveled up my pride and rode home...i feel like hiding from any buddies for atleast a week lol, but its all plastic scratch from the dirt. so its gonna cost me $1400 prob. just glad i popped my cherry in the grass(never been down)

Glad to hear only your pride was hurt. I hope I never pop my cherry... figuratively or literally.

thats depressing. i didnt get it too bad so i guess i am pretty lucky. when i hit i was doin about 40 and just skid. trashed my helmet, shoulder, and hip. but im almost better now, should have my bandages off within the week. somehow my bike ended up in the grass as i was bouncing down the street.. im still trying to figure that one out. sounds like you should have your bike back in one piece fairly soon, hopefully it all goes smooth for you
